Fabrizio Romano Gives Latest PSG’s Contract Extension Talks With Xavi Simons

For over the past few months, Paris Saint-Germain has been in discussions with Xavi Simons over a contract extension since his deal expires next month. The 19-year-old is one of the jewels within the academy, and the capital club wants to hold onto the midfielder.

With new changes coming to the Ligue 1 side, one of the goals will be to ink Simons to a contract extension, and it seems the Netherlands international wants to stay in the French capital.

According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano, Three clubs have approached Xavi Simons and his agents in the last few months to sign him on a free move this summer. 

However, it seems the wonderkid wants to stay in Paris since the answer was always the same: the plan is to extend the contract with the French giants. Romano details the final steps to be discussed with the new sporting director soon, which is likely to be Luis Campos.
