June 30th is two months away, and that date is when Kylian Mbappé can choose whichever club he wants to continue his career. The Paris Saint-Germain forward is likely to choose between the capital club and Real Madrid.
After Les Parisiens crashed out in the UEFA Champions League, it seemed as though that sealed the fate of Mbappé. However, France Bleu Paris (via Paris Fans) reports that the trend appears to be reversing and that an extension is no longer a utopian thought.
There is even optimism. Paris Saint-Germain still has until June 30th to try to convince the France international to remain in the French capital. Mbappé has yet to announce anything regarding his future and is taking his time to see which project fits him.
If PSG wants to hold onto their star player, not only will they need to put him at the center of their project, they need to begin building an actual team. Also, the French giants need to remove the marketing and immature aspects of their club that have seen it blown up in their faces during the Champions League.
