Report: Real Madrid Turning Down Latest Contract Demands by Kylian Mbappé

The future of Kylian Mbappé is a never-ending saga and the latest to come out of Spain is that Real Madrid rejected the contract demands made by the 23-year-old.

According to El Partidazo de COPE‘ journalist Guillem Balagué, the France international would have asked for €100-million more from the Spanish club. However, Los Blancos have reportedly said no to these latest demands since it’s more than they had agreed.

This latest twist on the financial side might allow Paris Saint-Germain to have some hope in extending their star player. Furthermore, Mbappé’s mother is reportedly in Qatar on vacation and also speaking with the capital club leaders over an extension.

Balagué didn’t add to his report why the forward is requesting an additional €100-million from Real Madrid. Nonetheless, the finances are where PSG can flex their muscle, but they’ll need to take a step further and make sure Mbappé knows they’re building a contender.

It will be interesting to see how these latest developments either hurt Real Madrid’s chances to land the France international or improve Mbappé’s chances to stay in his hometown.
