Paris Saint-Germain once again failed to score against the Christophe Galtier-led OGC Nice, as it came away with a 1-0 defeat to the side on matchday 28.

In speaking after the match, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino provided a review of the loss, where he took note of his side’s lack of goal-scoring chances over the course of the contest.

“We were heading for a draw, quite logically,” Pochettino said. “The match was balanced, we controlled the game, even if we didn’t create many chances. The opponent was able to answer with some situations, by transitions in particular, he was effective at the end. Honestly, there is not much to analyze about this game.”

Up next for PSG will be the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg fixture against Real Madrid.

  1. PSG didn’t look to be playing at 100%. With a big champions league match at midweek and a big cushion in Ligue 1, they probably aren’t too bothered with the loss.
