Paris Saint-Germain supporters aren’t in the happiest of spirits after seeing the capital club fall on their face again in the UEFA Champions League, this time to Real Madrid.
Over the past few years, fans of this club have seen meltdowns against FC Barcelona and Manchester United. Manager Mauricio Pochettino stated during his news conference understands why supporters are upset following the loss.
“The players are disappointed; everyone in the club has experienced a disappointment, a strong pain. The last days have been difficult. In these types of situations, there is not much rest and energy,” Pochettino said.
“The responsibility is enormous to finish the championship in the best way and win tomorrow’s match. We understand the disappointment of our supporters.”
Pochettino will likely be out this summer, and it appears as though he won’t be leaving alone following this latest debacle.
