Paris Saint-Germain is in a reflection period following its debacle during the second leg versus Real Madrid, leading to their UEFA Champions League elimination in the Round of 16.
As a result, there are many giving their opinions on what the capital club needs to do in this rebuild of their project. Some pundits and supporters have called for president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to be fired from his position.
However, Foot Mercato reports that Kylian Mbappé doesn’t want Al-Khelaifi to depart the Ligue 1 giants. Furthermore, the French media outlet states that the 23-year-old has an excellent relationship with the club president, who has always supported him since he arrived at PSG.
This report from France rebuffs the information coming out of Spain, where El Confidencial reported that Mbappé was fed up with Al-Khelaifi.
As for the future of Mbappé, Foot Mercato reports the forward has yet to sign anything official with Real Madrid, which he’s within his right to do considering the contract with PSG expires in June and can sign a pre-contract with any club.
