Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has now provided for his first public comments on the heels of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 elimination to Real Madrid.
Mbappe took to Instagram to provide a reflection on the Champions League exit, where the forward went on to note that the “season is not over.”
“Difficult moment,” Mbappe wrote. “The Champions League was a big goal for us, but we failed. The season is not over and no matter what happens we will stay united and determined until the last game of the season. Thank you to the fans who support us and who made the trip.”
It still remains to be seen on whether Mbappe will end up signing a new contract deal with PSG.
