As of late, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe have formed keen chemistry together at Paris Saint-Germain. Over the early stages of PSG’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg fixture against Real Madrid, Mbappe came close to converting a pivotal goal-scoring chance created by the Argentine.
Messi picked out Mbappe in Real Madrid’s defensive third, which came thanks to a stout off-ball run by the French forward. In the end, Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois delivered for his side with a crucial save.
