The Mauricio Pochettino era at Paris Saint-Germain appears to be reaching its end. According to Foot Mercato, the Argentine tactician is “tired” after the capital club crashed out in the Coupe de France.

Pochettino is reportedly fed up, both from a sporting and non-sporting angle. Everything seems to weigh on him, mainly internally. The club’s operation does not please him.

Furthermore, his relationship with Leonardo is already fresh. He had demanded the arrival of Tanguy Ndombélé and thought it feasible. However, the midfielder would end up on a loan deal with Olympique Lyonnais.

The report also states Pochettino does not see himself continuing the adventure in Paris beyond the current season. He already lets those around him know.

Therefore, it is four rather unique months ahead at PSG, with a manager who already has his mind elsewhere and will have to try to go all the way in the UEFA Champions League.

With Pochettino linked to the Manchester United job, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the manager has his eyes on the position. Also, PSG is reportedly connected to former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, so the end of the season can’t come soon enough to let these two parties part ways.
