PSG Mercato: Real Madrid Puts Forth an Ultimatum for Kylian Mbappé

The future of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé remains up in the air with his contract expiring in June. The 23-year-old has yet to announce his decision on where he’ll continue his career.

Real Madrid remains lurking to land Mbappé on a free transfer in a few months, but it seems as though their patience is running thin. According to The Times, the Spanish club has put forth an ultimatum: he signs on a free transfer this summer or will never be recruited.

Since January 1st, Mbappé has had the chance to sign a pre-contract with Los Blancos, and he has yet to put pen to paper to join Real Madrid. The report also details that PSG is going in at all costs to keep the France international ahead of Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup later this year.

Furthermore, the Real Madrid leaders would fear to see Mbappé make another decision in the coming months as they blame it on the diligent court that PSG is currently leading behind the scenes.

Once the Round of 16 matchup between PSG and Real Madrid is done, perhaps Mbappé might reveal where he’ll play next season.
