Although Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has one more full season remaining on his current contract, he is already garnering interest from one Major League Soccer side for a possible move.
Los Angeles Galaxy is open to a free transfer move for the veteran Spanish defender, according to Foot Mercato.
The report adds that LA Galaxy club officials and Ramos’ entourage have been in touch regarding a possible move.
Ramos has dealt with an injury-riddle campaign in his debut season at PSG. For one, he has been sidelined as of late due to a calf injury, which saw him miss PSG’s Ligue 1 home fixture against AS Saint-Etienne.
In the case that Ramos ends up commanding a hefty salary deal to join the LA Galaxy in the upcoming summer transfer window, the club would need to free up a designated player spot. Douglas Costa, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, and Kevin Cabral all currently feature for the club as designated players.
Overall, Ramos has so far featured in five matches in all competitions with PSG this season.
