Paris Saint-Germain welcomed Stade Brestois to the Parce des Princes Saturday night and walked away with a 2-0 result. One of the goal scorers in the match was Thilo Kehrer, who was on the receiving end of a beautiful assist by Nuno Mendes.
Kehrer played all 90 minutes, having four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball to go along with his goal scored. After the match, the defender spoke with PSG TV to discuss his performance in the win.
“I think we did a lot of things that we had prepared during the week, especially in the construction and in creating chances. I think we could still score one or two goals, and on the other side, Gigio Donnarumma also saved us once or twice. So we can be happy tonight; it was a good match for us, even if we know there are always things to improve,” Kehrer said.
“My start to the season? Yes, in this position, as a right side, it is also an objective to be dangerous in the opposing camp, to create chances, make decisive passes, score goals. That’s what I’m trying to do, and I hope we’ll continue like this.”
