Paris Saint-Germain is in action this weekend when they welcome Stade Brestois 29 to the Parc des Princes. Two players that won’t be in the starting eleven for the capital club are Neymar Jr. and Lionel Messi.
Neymar continues to rehab his ankle injury, and Messi gets into match fitness after contracting the coronavirus. PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media, where he provided an update on his two star players.
“Neymar is following his recovery plan. Leo is better, but he is still under the control of the medical staff, and we hope he can be with us soon. But it seems clear that he will not be available for the match against Brest on Saturday evening,” Pochettino said.
Les Parisiens will need them to get into matches before the end of this month as they prepare for their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup against Real Madrid.
