It’s not often Marco Verratti appears on the score sheet, but the 29-year-old decided to shoot against Stade de Reims. The Italy international’s shot got a courtesy bounce off the post leading to the opening goal for Paris Saint-Germain late in the first half.
Verratti received much love from his PSG teammates after the goal, considering the midfielder isn’t known for taking a shot on goal. Nonetheless, this time he did, giving the capital club a 1-0 lead.
