Paris Saint-Germain wants to improve their midfield in the summer and bring in a player that’s on par with Marco Verratti. The capital club would like to lessen their dependence on the 29-year-old, who has a habit of missing big games due to injury or suspension.
According to Foot Mercato (via Canal Supporters), Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is Les Parisiens‘ priority to strengthen their midfield. The 28-year-old’s contract expires in June and could arrive on a free transfer this coming summer.
Pogba has yet to sign a contract extension with The Red Devils. Various reports suggest the France international is ready to depart, with Juventus, Real Madrid, and PSG interested.
However, the Ligue 1 side doesn’t want to put all its eggs in the Pogba basket as they’re also eyeing other alternatives. The French media outlet adds that RC Lens’ Seko Fofana and AS Monaco’s Aurélien Tchouaméni are other targets that PSG has to improve their midfield.
