As the ongoing winter transfer window is nearing a close, Paris Saint-Germain could still go on to complete one more departure.
As noted by RMC Sport (via Le10Sport), AS Roma has been open to a move for PSG midfielder Danilo Pereira.
Roma is looking to reinforce its midfield depth as it aims to make a run for a top-four spot in the Serie A standings. As it stands, it is not known whether PSG would be open to such a move, whether for a permanent transfer deal or a sheer loan agreement.
PSG has seen a multitude of midfield talents feature for manager Mauricio Pochettino in the campaign. More so, PSG’s depth chart at this position has been a bit crowded as of late, especially as the likes of prospects Xavi Simons and Edouard Michut have earned playing time minutes in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.
Overall, Pereira has three more seasons remaining on his current contract deal with PSG.
