L’Equipe Denies Report of a Verbal Agreement Between PSG and Ousmane Dembélé

Over the weekend, a report surfaced of a verbal agreement between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé. However, before there’s any uproar regarding the deal, the 24-year-old remains far away from being a capital club player.

The two clubs have not reached an agreement, at least for the moment. Furthermore, L’Equipe (via Culture PSG) reports that a contractual agreement between PSG and Dembélé has been denied by both the club and the player’s representatives.

According to the French media outlet, the France international has learned a lot about the operation of the Parisian locker room in recent months. Dembélé used this as a way of measuring the risk of returning to an environment in the Ile-de-France region, which he knows well.

Dembélé is far from Paris and even more from Barcelona. L’Equipe adds that the winger imagines his future in England. A move to the Premier League is what he favors in the coming months, and two clubs are favorites to welcome him, namely Manchester United and Chelsea.
