Paris Saint-Germain fell at the Etihad Stadium to Manchester City 2-1. The capital club opened the scoring in the second half, but they couldn’t prevent the Premier League side from scoring two unanswered goals to come away with the victory and the winners of Group A.

After the match, Presnel Kimpembe, who had an excellent fixture having cleared four shots and blocked three, spoke to the microphones of RMC Sport, where he discussed what went wrong for the squad in their loss.

“It was a good game overall; we’re not going to spit on what we did well. We lack this trick to kill the match,” Kimpembe said. “In a competition like this, it pays off in cash. We are disappointed; it’s complicated.

“City is a very good team; we know its qualities. We did good things, others not so good; it’s a game where we should have been more killers on the chances we got, even if they had a lot of them on their side. It’s sad, but that’s how it is; it’s football.”
