Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé featured in the scoring as the 22-year-old scored the third goal in the capital club’s 3-2 victory as they head into the international break on a positive note.
After the match, Mbappé spoke to Canal Plus, and one of the first questions that the France international answered was over nearly losing their 3-0 lead that they had at one point during the match.
“We didn’t tremble. Today I think it was less hard than usual. We made ourselves comfortable. Afterward, they score at the end; it’s avoidable, but to say that we trembled, no. We have been shaking a lot more in the last few weeks than today,” Mbappé said.
Another question that Mbappé answered is over the criticism that PSG sees and whether it’s warranted.
“It is self-respecting; it’s normal! I don’t know, but it’s respectful. Everyone has the right to give their opinion. People think we’re playing badly,” Mbappé said.
“Me, I think we are not playing very well at the moment, but we manage to win. I hope we will continue to work because the squad is hardworking. We are aware of it. It’s not as alarming as you might think either, but it needs improvement, of course.”
