The France national team will be playing its home match Saturday at the Parce des Princes against Kazakhstan. Les Bleus aren’t in their usual home at the Stade de France; nonetheless, for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé, it’s home and one of the better stadiums in Europe.
Although playing at the Parc des Princes is a typical day at the office for the 22-year-old. However, seeing the logos for the France national team all over the stadium does give Mbappé a different feeling, as he stated to the French Football Federation’s YouTube account.
“It’s my first time with the France team, and it’s special! I play here all year round, but this is different. There are all the logos of the France team; everything has been changed… It’s a great stadium! I love to play here! I like everything about this stadium! The atmosphere, the terrain, the atmosphere,” Mbappé said.
“It’s one of the best stadiums in Europe, for me the best! We had a lot of fun; people put a lot of atmosphere and a lot of heart to encourage us! I hope this will be the case [Saturday]! (…) I put some goals here. In any case, the objective is to win and validate the ticket for the World Cup. We will then be quieter to calmly prepare for this second match. The match is important!
