Video: ‘It Was a Good Match’ – Christopher Nkunku Discusses RB Leipzig’s 2-2 Draw Against PSG

RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku played a significant role in the German club obtaining the draw against Paris Saint-Germain. The France international scored the opening goal against Les Parisiens

However, the Ligue 1 club was able to bounce back, scoring two goals, with both of them coming from Georginio Wijnaldum. Nonetheless, Nkunku would draw the foul on Presnel Kimpembe, leading to Leipzig earning a penalty kick opportunity that Dominik Szoboszlai. 

After the match, Nkunku spoke with beIN Sports France to provide his thoughts on the 2-2 result. 

“From a personal point of view, it was a good match, but I want to retain this form. We were able to raise our level of play, show a big face tonight. We have to rely on that for the future,” Nkunku said.

“The awakening of PSG? I think they said to themselves that it is a sign to get up because we almost put the 2-0. Afterward, we know their qualities; they reacted immediately by scoring twice. Afterward, we stayed focused on our game plan, we all made the effort together, and behind it, it paid off. We managed to have the 2-2.”
