Over the past week, Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino was the subject of reports regarding a possible departure to Manchester United. Furthermore, other outlets reported PSG’s pursuit of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane to replace the Argentine tactician.
The Red Devils would ultimately go in a different direction as they have reportedly reached an agreement with Ralf Rangnick. Nonetheless, Pochettino was again asked about these rumors during his press conference with the media ahead of their match against AS Saint-Étienne.
“We have always been focused on City. There is no control over the rumors; we stayed focused. I am always focused on football, on games, on our work. It doesn’t affect us,” Pochettino said.
