Paris Saint-Germain will return to UEFA Champions League group stage play with the upcoming matchday five fixture against Manchester City.

PSG is just coming off of the convincing 3-1 win over Nantes in Ligue 1 play. Now, the side will look to overtake first place in Champions League Group A with a possible win over the reigning Premier League champions.

As noted by WhoScored, PSG is expected to roll out one formidable starting 11 for this clash.

Donnarumma; Diallo, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Hakimi; Verratti, Paredes, Gueye; Neymar, Mbappe, Messi

Sergio Ramos made the trip to Manchester, England with his PSG teammates for this match. While he may not start in this fixture, he could at the least make his PSG debut as a second half substitute.

Leandro Paredes made his return to action from his notable quad injury during the Argentina national team’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Brazil. He featured in PSG’s match against Nantes and may earn a start tomorrow as a holding midfielder.

PSG’s star-studded attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have yet to all score in a match this season. It sure would be pivotal if they were to do just that against Manchester City.

PSG needs a win in this result to keep its aspirations alive of clinching the top spot in Group A.
