PSG Mercato: Paris SG Target Paul Pogba Prefers a Move to Juventus

Paris Saint-Germain wants to improve their midfield as the capital club decided to push back their pursuit of one this summer. The Ligue 1 side had been in the running for players like Eduardo Camavinga, Fabián Ruiz, and Paul Pogba. However, a move for a midfielder to go along with the addition of Georginio Wijnaldum didn’t occur.

The French giants had the opportunity to land Lionel Messi and decided to kick the midfield need for the January window or next summer. PSG has Pogba atop their target list as it seems he will leave Manchester United on a free transfer in June.

Nonetheless, before PSG thinks about bringing the 28-year-old home,  Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Pogba would prefer a return to Juventus this summer when his contract expires. The Italian media outlet adds that Pogba is willing to sign a three-year contract.

Perhaps this is a negotiating tactic for other clubs to improve their offers as Real Madrid and PSG are the rumored clubs expressing interest. It will be interesting to see if Pogba decides a pre-contract in January or lets discussions extend into next summer.
