Paris Saint-Germain forward Mauro Icardi has seen his life filled with drama over the past few weeks, with his marital issues taking center stage for the public to see.
As a result, the capital club might be looking to offload the 28-year-old this January window, and one club remains interested.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus eyes ACF Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahović, their top transfer target, but The Old Lady has competition to land the 21-year-old.
The Italian club isn’t putting all their eggs in the Vlahović basket. The report adds that Juventus has four players on their Plan B list, and one of the names is Icardi.
Along with an Argentine forward is on the list, Juventus also has SL Benfica’s Darwin Núñez, Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, and Pisa’s Lorenzo Lucca.
Juventus has long been interested in Icardi as the PSG striker saw his name linked to the Serie A side all summer. Despite his struggles, Icardi has a transfer value of €35-million.
