Midfield is a position that Paris Saint-Germain wants to address this coming transfer window, whether it’s in January or next summer. One of the prime targets for the capital club is AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié.
The 24-year-old is in the final year of his contract, and it seems his representatives can’t reach an agreement on an extension to remain with the Serie A side. As a result, Les Parisiens are ready to swoop in and land the player.
According to journalist Alessandro Jacobone, Kessié’s agent, George Atangana, spoke with the French giants sporting director Leonardo and let him know what type of deal he’s looking for his client.
The report states that Atangana wants a five-year contract worth €10-million net per season plus €2-million in bonuses for Kessié, whether it’s a deal he reaches with AC Milan or elsewhere.
Kessié and his representative will be able to talk with other clubs and reach a pre-contract for next season once the January window opens. It will be interesting if PSG decides to poach another AC Milan player on a free transfer.
