The goal is simple for Paris Saint-Germain this season. Win everything. From their domestic competitions to winning the UEFA Champions League, anything short of this, some will consider the 2021-22 campaign a failure.
Ahead of their first group stage match against Club Brugge, manager Mauricio Pochettino sat down with Canal Plus, where he acknowledged that task at hand for the squad this season.
Furthermore, the Argentine stated that plenty of people want to see them fail, especially in the Champions League competition.
“We have the responsibility if we have the pressure to win. Of course, there are many people who are waiting for us to fail as well, but only we have the possibility of living this story; of living this experience, and we are going to enjoy it,” Pochettino said.
“And I am on the other side of suffering in enjoyment, and that is something that we are going to live and that we are going to enjoy hoping that everything turns out well because that is the intention and for sure that if we work well, things will go well.”
