If Paris Saint-Germain wins its first UEFA Champions League in club history, it will be on the backs of Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé as the two have been close to helping the Ligue 1 side winning the biggest prize in club football.
Ahead of the Champions League matchup against Manchester City, Ander Herrera spoke to the media at his press conference about the relationship between Neymar and Mbappé. Recently there have been instances where one player misses the other on an open play, but as Herrera states, they’re still close.
“As soon as I arrived at the club, I could see the bond between Ney and Kylian. We can still see it,” Herrera said. “They laugh, they sleep. In the game, everyone wants to score or give an assist; these are things that happen. Sometimes things are overblown, out of context. You have to take it in a funny way because you know what this club represents.”
