Thursday marked the first training session for Nuno Mendes, who arrives on loan with a €40-million option from Sporting CP. Paris Saint-Germain completed the deal for the 19-year-old on deadline day as the summer transfer window was about to close.
With the FIFA international break opening right after the 31st, Nuno didn’t report to PSG as he received a call up to the Portugal squad. However, now the teenager is at the Camp des Loges and forward, Mauro Icardi gave the left-back a warm welcome with a nutmeg.
