Video: ‘I Hope to Do Great Things’ – Achraf Hakimi Discusses His Journey to PSG in Latest Video Series

Paris Saint-Germain decided to splurge this summer on one transfer purchase when they paid €60-million to Inter Milan for Achraf Hakimi. The 22-year-old has solved the issues at right-back as he’s the undisputed starter and the defender recently spoke to the capital club’s YouTube channel in a series called “My Journey to Paris.”

One of the many questions he answered was his initial thoughts on PSG and what the club represents.

“I am honored to have signed for Paris Saint-Germain, a historic, ambitious club. You already know the team we have, the players who play here and who want to enter. I am happy to be part of this club. I hope to do great things there and leave my name in its history,” Hakimi said.

Another question that the former Inter Milan defender answered is over his goals with PSG, where he’ll be for the next few years.

“As I said, try to win to achieve collective goals, try to win all the trophies possible. Personally, to profit, to fulfill the collective objectives, and to engrave my name in the history of PSG,” Hakimi said.
