‘100-Percent PSG’ – Brazilian Journalist Discusses the Change of Neymar Who Embraces Paris and Ultras

Neymar Jr. committed long-term to Paris Saint-Germain, signing a contract extension with the capital club. However, during his tenure, some believed he would depart, primarily back to FC Barcelona.

The 29-year-old saw banners from the PSG ultras ready to see him leave the French capital; nonetheless, time heals all wounds. Neymar eventually put the ordeal of a possible transfer behind him and has embraced Paris.

Brazilian journalist Isabela Pagliari spoke to Europe 1 (via Paris Fans), discussing several topics regarding Neymar.

The first is that the Brazil international wants to get into form following a slow start to the 2021-22 season. The forward had a busy summer playing in the Copa America, so he had his vacations late in the summer resulting in him integrating into the squad while the season remained ongoing.

“Neymar is doing really well. He regained his form. He is everywhere; he tries to break the lines, to help his team, and to push everyone,” Pagliari said.

“We know that the Neymar-Mbappé-Messi trio has not yet found its marks, but it is a matter of time. They know they have to improve, they have to adapt, and everyone has to be in good shape.”

Neymar has also embraced Paris following the tension between him and the ultras. Pagliari adds that he’s more than happy to see Lionel Messi in the French capital and be his teammate once more.

“Neymar has changed. He now goes to the supporters, and he even went to the Ultras at the Parc des Princes; we saw him sing. There is really a change in Neymar’s posture compared to PSG,” Pagliari said.

“A person who would say that Neymar is not happy in Paris would be lying. Neymar today is 100-percent PSG. He is even super happy to have helped for the arrival of Lionel Messi in Paris.”
