Video: ‘There Are Still 24 Hours’ – Mauricio Pochettino Discusses Whether Gianluigi Donnarumma Will Play Against Brest

Gianluigi Donnarumma arrived on a free transfer this summer from AC Milan, and following his performance that helped Italy win the UEFA Euros, the 22-year-old officially joined Paris Saint-Germain. The Italy international has yet to make an appearance early in the season.

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino spoke to the media, where he discussed when Donnarumma sees the pitch for the capital club. The Argentine tactician didn’t provide much more detail but only stated that if the goalkeeper is on the squad, then it means he can play.

“We are analyzing to find out if [Donnarumma] can be in the group. We are happy with its integration. He won the Euro and voted the best player of the competition,” Pochettino said. “He brings positive energy to the group like all those who have arrived. Can he play if he is available? There are still 24 hours until the game. If he’s in the group, that means he can play.”
