Paris Saint-Germain will soon be officially announcing the free transfer signing of Lionel Messi.

Over the past days, PSG had worked overtime to accelerate this signing following the Argentine’s departure from Barcelona.

As noted by the Argentine-based outlet TyC Sports, PSG and Messi have already come to terms on a multiyear free transfer deal.

In the contract negotiations with PSG, Messi requested that the Argentina national team will be a major priority for him over his run with the club. Messi aims to play in any official or friendly fixtures with Argentina while with PSG.

The French powerhouse granted Messi’s request, especially as the Argentine is well looking to help La Albiceleste qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

More so, Messi asked that the medical staff of the Argentina national team have access to PSG’s facilities. Again, PSG budged and accepted Messi’s request.

The former Ballon d’Or winner will have a hefty schedule ahead of him over the upcoming year, as he will be taking part in key, must-win fixtures with both PSG and the Argentina national team.
