PSG Mercato: Players and Employees Have Been Told About the Arrival of Lionel Messi

The arrival of Lionel Messi to Paris Saint-Germain appears to be imminent as his representatives are in the French capital attempting to finalize the contract that will see the 34-year-old sign with the Ligue 1 side.

As PSG plays against ES Troyes AC, it seems as though the players on the squad could be playing knowing that Messi will soon be their teammate. According to Le Parisien (via Paris Fans), the Argentine forward’s arrival has been announced to players and employees at the club.

Messi is heading to the French giants after he and FC Barcelona were unable to register the contract that both parties agreed to, citing economic and structural obstacles. As a result, this led to a departure with the only logical club that can afford Messi being PSG.

Talks between the two sides have accelerated, and various reports suggest that Messi will sign a two-year contract with an option for a third year and earn €35-million per season with PSG.
