PSG Mercato: Paris Sets Price Demand for Kehrer as Bayern Munich Shows Late Interest for a Deal

As the ongoing summer transfer window is nearing a close, Paris Saint-Germain may very well be active in completing key deals over the upcoming weeks.

For one, PSG may have to sell several players, including Thilo Kehrer. One recent report noted that PSG is looking to offload the German defender via a permanent transfer deal.

Kehrer has garnered transfer interest from multiple clubs, including FC Bayern Munich.

As noted by the Spanish-based outlet Todofichajes, Bayern is looking to make a late push to haul in Kehrer to bolster its center-back depth.

Bayern is much open to signing Kehrer on a €12 million permanent transfer deal, although PSG has set a €25 million price demand.

Following the key depth signing of Sergio Ramos, PSG can now afford to offload Kehrer via a transfer deal, although it is not known whether Bayern may be that club to sign him. The two sides currently stand €13 million apart in such a deal, and neither side is urgent to complete this possible move.

Kehrer has so far played in every minute of PSG’s trio of fixtures this season in all competitions. He has two more seasons remaining on his current contract deal with the club.
