One of the weak points on the Paris Saint-Germain is close to being resolved as the capital club is about to reinforce the left-back position. According to RMC Sport, Paris Saint-Germain has reached an agreement with Sporting Club Portugal for the arrival of Nuno Mendes.
The left-back will join the Ligue 1 side on loan with an option to buy (between €40-million and €50-million). Meanwhile, Pablo Sarabia will go the other way to Sporting. The Spaniard will be loaned without an option to buy.
Mendes will be the final piece as PSG revamped their backline this summer with the additions of Achraf Hakimi at right-back and Sergio Ramos to join Presnel Kimpembe and Marquinhos as the central defenders.
With the pending addition of Mendes, the left-back position is now deep as the 19-year-old fighting with Juan Bernat and Abdou Diallo as the starter, with many hoping the teenager becomes the starter.
