PSG Mercato: Lyon Places Layvin Kurzawa on Their Transfer Target List

Many were confused when Paris Saint-Germain extended the contract of Layvin Kurzawa. The 28-year-old has become a headache for the capital club in terms of a player they would like to sell this summer.

There were reports that the Ligue 1 side had agreed to sell Kurzawa to Turkish giants Galatasaray SK. However, the player had no desire to leave France for Turkey, so that deal fell through.

The France international has no drawn the interest of fellow French club Olympique Lyonnais.  L’Equipe reports that manager Peter Bosz wants to strengthen his squad at all positions and is studying several profiles, with Kurzawa being one of them.

However, there’s a couple of hurdles when it comes to this potential Kurzawa transfer. Lyon has yet to pursue this file by putting a proposal on the table for the left-back. Furthermore, both parties would need Kurzawa onboard to have this move occur.

As the French media outlet adds, Kurzawa has reiterated in recent months in the Parisian locker room that he wants to complete his contract with PSG.
