In May, Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi campaigned for freedom of Palestine after nine Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes, which was a response to Palestinian groups firing rockets into Israel.
Fast forward two months and Hakimi was in Tel Aviv, Israel, for the Trophée des Champions against Lille. Every time the 22-year-old touched the ball, he was booed by the crowd.
AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer took to social media, where he defended the capital club defender despite the boos from the crowd.
