Report: Mbappe Expected to Start in France’s Friendly Fixture Against Wales

The French national team will have a pair of international friendlies upcoming as it continues to prepare for the Euro 2020 tournament. France will kick off this slate with a clash against Wales tomorrow.

French national team manager Didier Deschamps has not yet officially announced his starting 11 for this matchup against Wales, but Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is expected to be among the team’s starters, as noted by RMC Sport.

Mbappe last featured in a fixture during PSG’s Ligue 1 season finale against Brest on May 23. The French forward has been featuring in a multitude of training sessions with France over the past week, so it will be noteworthy to see whether he will go on to play in the entirety of this match against Wales.

Mbappe is well expected to be among the players who Deschamps will choose to represent France in the Euros. The PSG star currently sits at 16 international goals with France but is without a career goal in the European Championship.
