PSG Mercato: The Athletic Claims Real Madrid Has Lost Hope for Paris SG’s Kylian Mbappé

The ongoing interest that Real Madrid has in Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé will continue into the summer until the 22-year-old decides on his future.

Mbappé has one more year left on his contract with the capital club, and the capital club is doing everything in its power to show the forward that they’ll build a winner around him.

Adding Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and potentially Achraf Hakimi is one way to grab the attention of Mbappé. The French giants are reading to spend big to improve its squad drastically.

Even though Mbappé hasn’t decided on his future, it appears that optimism within Real Madrid is dwindling.

According to The Athletic (via Paris Fans), a source close to the Madrid club informed them that there’s no real hope for a Mbappé transfer this summer.

Les Parisiens have stated that they’re not interested in negotiating a possible sale for Mbappé, and their start to the summer window shows they’re not looking to sell any of their core players of this project.
