Gianluigi Donnarumma is departing AC Milan when his contract expires later this month, and one of the prime destinations for the 22-year-old is Paris Saint-Germain.
With the UEFA European Championship beginning this week, it seems as though Donnarumma wants to have his future set before Italy’s first game on Friday against Turkey.
According to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the soon-to-be-former Milan goalkeeper will decide on his future in the coming days. PSG recently met with his agent, Mino Raiola, to discuss Donnarumma, among other topics.
Furthermore, should the Italy international choose Les Parisiens as his next decision, they will loan him out as Keylor Navas still has another year or two left of being one of the top goalkeepers in the world.
It’s not often that a young, potentially world-class goalkeeper hits the open market on a free transfer, so it seems as though the capital club wants to jump on this opportunity.
Other clubs potentially showing interest in Donnarumma are Juventus FC and FC Barcelona.
