It’s been all quiet on the Achraf Hakimi file for Paris Saint-Germain, and it seems as though it’s a game of chicken at the moment to see which side blinks first.
The capital club has reportedly made their offer, which is €60-million plus bonuses. However, Inter Milan wants €70-million along with the bonuses. As a result, €10-million separates from a potential agreement for the 22-year-old.
Despite these two parties being at odds over the transfer price, it doesn’t seem like it’s a significant obstacle to get a deal done. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Paris Fans), PSG could complete the transfer for Hakimi within the next ten days.
Inter Milan wants to secure €80-million in transfer sales this summer, and Hakimi’s departure to the French giants would go a long way in making sure they have those funds.
PSG could be adding two new players within these next couple of weeks as they’re on the verge of adding midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.
