Report: Mbappe in Line to Start for France Against Bulgaria

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is expected to be in the starting lineup for the French national team’s upcoming friendly fixture against Bulgaria, according to a report from RMC Sport.

Mbappe featured in France’s opening fixture of the ongoing international window against Wales. Mbappe notched a goal and an assist in the match as France cruised to a 3-0 win.

In France’s final tuneup before the start of Euro 2020, the PSG star is on par to be in Les Bleus’ starting 11 for the matchup against Bulgaria, but it is not yet known whether manager Didier Deschamps plans to have him play in the majority of the fixture.

France will kick off its Euro 2020 run with a group stage showdown against Germany on June 15, which will then be followed up by a matchup against Hungary on June 19.

Mbappe is slated to one of France’s focal points in its attack alongside the likes of Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann. More so, this will be the first Euro tournament of Mbappe’s international career.
