La Liga President Tebas Explains Why Real Madrid Stands in Promising Position to Sign Mbappe

La Liga president Javier Tebas signaled out Real Madrid’s keen economic management over the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as to why the side can very well sign Kylian Mbappe.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward remains linked with a possible permanent transfer move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s silence over whether he plans to stay with the French powerhouse has further fueled speculation regarding a potential move to Los Blancos.

Tebas sees that even as numerous clubs still plan to be hesitant with signing big name talents due to their uncertain financial situations, Real Madrid does have what it takes to sign Mbappe this summer.

Tebas spoke further (via Le10Sport) about this matter during a recent La Liga economic report press conference.

“That is Madrid’s decision,” Tebas said. “Madrid has done the management of the pandemic very well. Of the great clubs in Europe, it is the one that has done the best.

“Madrid is the one that has managed the issue of the pandemic.”

This potential transfer saga may end up dragging on until the last days of the upcoming summer transfer window.
