Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar orchestrated one astounding performance for the Brazilian national team in its 2021 Copa America opener against Venezuela.
Neymar wound up recording two more career international goal involvements, which included a key penalty score that gave Brazil the lead for good in the match.
Neymar also showed off his world-class playmaking prowess in South America’s biggest international tournament.
As noted by Opta, Neymar notched seven goal-scoring chances created for teammates against Venezuela. This is the most by any Brazilian player in Copa America since the PSG forward made his debut with the national team.

There is a real chance that Neymar could go on to finish the tournament as both the leading goal-scorer and top assist getter. The PSG star will have competitions from the likes of Argentina forward Lionel Messi and Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez in this feat.
Nonetheless, Neymar may be in for the greatest tournament run of his career with the Selecao.
