Report: Neymar Aims for a Brazil Return Following PSG Career

Neymar recently ended all speculation regarding his Paris Saint-Germain career when he signed off on a multiyear contract extension deal. The Brazilian was set to become a free agent next year, but this new deal will keep the forward at the club for several more years.

Neymar already has his eyes planned on what could be in store following his PSG career. As noted by the Brazilian-based UOL, Neymar and PSG club officials agreed to a clause that would add another year to his current extension deal. The expectation is that this clause may be triggered by next year, which would then extend Neymar’s deal up until 2026.

By then, Neymar aims at ending his career in Europe in order to make a return to Brazil, the report added.

The report did not speculate on which Brazilian clubs Neymar would be interested in joining. Still, one could say that his former club in Santos would be among his top choices.

For now, Neymar remains set on adding to his already stout legacy with PSG. The Brazilian currently is vying to help PSG finish off the ongoing campaign with yet another domestic double.
