Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Danilo Pereira has been included in the Portuguese national team’s final Euro 2020 squad list, as announced by the association’s official website.
Pereira is among eight midfielders included in the squad list. Overall, there are also three other Ligue 1 players who will represent Portugal in the upcoming Euro tournament, which includes the likes of Olympique Lyonnais goalkeeper Anthony Lopes along with Lille OSC talents Jose Fonte and Renato Sanches.
Portugal will feature in arguably the must-watch group of the Euros, which has both France and Germany.
For Pereira, he earned this call-up thanks to his reliability for PSG and Portugal in all competitions this season. The Portuguese midfielder has earned key starts in competitions such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Nations League.
Pereira may be called on to start in several key Euro fixtures for Portugal as it aims to repeat as winners in this tournament.
