Paris Saint-Germain said goodbye to their veteran defender Thiago Silva, and it appears they missed the 35-year-old at various points during the 2021-22 season. Now it seems the capital club could be looking to add a veteran leader on their backline this summer.

According to Foot Mercato, the French giants have an offer for Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, one that Los Blancos can’t afford to match. The 35-year-old’s contract expires next month, and as of now, there’s no extension between Ramos and the Spanish giant.

The French media outlet reports that PSG is ready to offer a two-year contract with an additional year as an option.

Furthermore, Les Parisiens are ready to pay a substantial salary and an eight-figure signing bonus to Ramos. Financial terms which more attractive than what Real Madrid can provide the defender.

The La Liga side wants him to remain on their squad, but they would like for Ramos to lower his salary demands, which is something it appears the player isn’t willing to do right now.
