PSG Mercato: Paris Exploring a Free Transfer Move for a Real Madrid Forward

Paris Saint-Germain is showing an interest in signing Real Madrid forward Lucas Vasquez to a free transfer deal, according to a report from the Spanish-based outlet AS (via Le10Sport).

PSG has an eye to signing Vasquez but is not the only club interested in a possible free transfer move for the Los Blancos forward. The report also adds that Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich also has an aim for such a signing as well.

Both PSG and Bayern have submitted proposals to Vasquez for a free transfer deal.

Vasquez is set to become a free agent over the upcoming summer transfer window. Rumors have circulated over the past year regarding Real Madrid’s interest in signing Vasquez to a new contract extension deal. Still, the two sides have not yet struck an agreement to such a contract.

As noted by the report, Real Madrid did recently submit a three-year contract offer to Vasquez. The Spanish forward has not yet agreed to Real Madrid’s new offer.

Vasquez has totaled for 34 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid this season, including eight in the UEFA Champions League.
