Paris Saint-Germain wants to sell players before they begin their pursuit of recruits as they look to improve their squad for the 2021-22 season. One of the names that could be on the move is Mauro Icardi, as the striker has had an up and down two-year stint.
Icardi appears to want a move back to Italy, and although the capital club is open to selling the player, they aren’t actively shopping him. As a result, the responsibility lies on his wife/agent Wanda Nara. She will need to feel out interest and see if any is willing to pay what PSG wants.
For any Italian club interested in her husband, Calciomercato reports that the French giants want a transfer sum of €40-million. Juventus FC, AC Milan, and AS Roma are the three clubs that express interest in the player but now know the cost it will take for them to secure Icardi.
It will be interesting to see if any of these three clubs will pay the money as PSG could use the sum to address other needs on the squad.
